The dark circles under eyes is the often dark space below the eyes that makes a person look depressed or older than the actual age. There are several different reasons for dark circles under eyes : one, because of the swelling of fat in this area, two because of color sedate below the eyes. Sometimes the two reasons may be both present. If the reason for dark circles under eyes lies in the fat that is swelling below the eyes, the surgery is very simple as the removal of this fat will remove dark circles under eyes. This operation is rather simple and takes about 20-30 minutes. No scars will be left and there will be no pain as the patient will undergo painless sleep-in anesthesia. The patient can wash and put make up on his or her face right after surgery. The swelling is minimal, and although there are clients who go straight back to work the next day, 2-3 days of rest are recommended.     If there is no bulging of under eye bags but the dark circles under eyes is still present, this has to do with the color of this particular skin area. In this case, the results of the surgery are not as drastic as the first case. Non-surgical methods include putting on cream or ointment, going to skin care treatment, or going through laser treatment. All these methods, however, are very limited and satisfaction is very low for the client that undergoes these processes. In this case, although the under eye bags is not directly connected to the presence of dark circles under eyes, some achieve good results through surgical processes. We recommend the surgical process if the dark circles under eyes is very severe.
